Our Faith

Fortress Church is an Assembly of God church, the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world.

Our Declaration of Faith

We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord!  Our past is forgiven, our present is blessed, and our destiny is promised!  We live to love God and love people at a deeper level. We desire to experience and dwell in the presence of God.  We purpose to evangelize our world, exalt the Lord, edify the believers and empower the church! Because the Lord is our Fortress, we have a safety to run to, a security to go to, a strength to hold on to, and a summit to rise to!  We declare that we are blessed coming in and blessed going out!
In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Our Mission

Fortress Church serves to bring individuals into a personal relationship with Christ Jesus (Evangelize), lead them to experience God’s presence in worship (Exalt), teach them Godly principles by which to live (Edify), and prepare them for ministry in the kingdom of God (Empower).

Our Doctrine

1.  Salvation.  We believe that salvation is a gift of God based on the blood that Christ shed on the cross of Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.
2.  Healing. We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided in the Atonement.
3.  The Holy Spirit. We believe that the power of the Holy Spirit is extended to the believers for the purpose of being witnesses.
4.  The Second Coming of Christ. We believe that all Christians who have died will one day rise from their graves to meet the Lord in the air, and those who have not yet died will be caught up with them.
