Intercessory Prayer - Friday Nights, 7:00 PM

“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; and give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6, 7

Intercessory Prayer Goals and Objectives

- To mobilize the church to prayer.

- To bring vision to all the prayer groups.

- To facilitate prayer.

- To impliment new prayer groups.

- To train intercessors.

- To provide accountability to all prayer groups.

- To communicate specific prayer targets and specific prayers to activate the power of agreement.

- To use the pastor’s sermons as guidelines for vision casting for the church.

Intercessory Prayer Vision Statement

To be the watchmen that God has called us to be and never keep silent, taking no rest, and reminding the Lord of His promises for our pastors, our church, our elders and the leaders of this church and the body of Christ at Fortress and throughout the world, as well as the leaders of our nation.

To become a people who pray in unity with one mind and one accord.

To become a strong army that will bombard the gates of hell and take back what Satan has stolen from God’s people.

To see faithful intercessors who will be persistent in prayer and who will stand in the gap for God’s people, God’s plans and God’s purposes, continually building a hedge of protection around them, that kings and kingdoms might be changed for the glory of God.

To see a generation of humble, priestly people rise up with the passion and anointing to lay hold of God as He has laid hold of them.
