Rick Paez, his wife Lorna and their son Joshua first attended Fortress Church in November 2005.  Rick joined the Sunday School staff in the summer of 2006 as one of the administrative assistants to the Sunday School Director and from there became the Sunday School Coordinator for the Pre-School, Kinder, Primary, and Middler Classes. His vision for Sunday School is that it be used by God mightily in teaching, equiping and mobilizing Christians at Fortress Church to actively share God's word, love and promise so that others may know Him through Jesus Christ.
