Mission Statement: Grace Christian School is a ministry that seeks to provide a training center to teach students how to live according to God's principles, to be passionate followers of Christ and to find and fulfill the destiny and purpose God has for their lives. As the Lord Jesus Christ, in His youth, grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man, (Luke 2:52), it is our desire for our students to reach maturity in all areas.
Vision Statement: The vision of Grace Christian School is to affect our community and the world by training young people in the ways of God, providing a strong academic foundation, and guiding them to find and fulfill their purpose in the Kingdom of God thus equipping them to make a significant impact on the lives of others for Christ.
Prayer and Worship: Prayer and Worship are vital parts of each school day and encourage and train students to focus on God as their source at all times.
Environment: A warm, loving, home-like, disciplined environment allows students to work at their maximum potential. The low teacher to student ratio as well as the curriculum itself, allow for a large amount of valuable one-on-one instruction.
High School Credits: Quality School - GCS has achieved the honor of Quality School Status through ACE Ministries which will keep our school at a high standard of excellence and allow us to offer dual enrollment. Dual Enrollment - This allows high school students to receive a transcript and diploma accredited with the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Benefits to Students - 1. Increased performance - accreditation provides and ensures improved learning for all enrolled students. 2. Transfer of credits - this will ease the transfer of students as they move from one accredited institution to another. 3. Access to programs and scholarships - this benefits students participating in sports programs, applying for federal grants and scholarships. Note: In an effort to continually seek growth and improvement for His glory, GCS is currently participating in a school improvement program through Canaan Ministries, an international school consulting firm.
